Plot: Inspired by the incredible true story of Lucky Singh, an extremely charismatic and fearless confidence man and thief who socialized with the rich, famous and influential of Delhi society and then proceeded to rob them blind.
The film's protagonist Lucky's character is based on a real Delhi thief Devinder Singh alias Bunty. The local media dubbed him as 'Superchor' (Super Thief) and being inspired from that the film has a song 'Superchor'.
The school featured in the movie is the same school which the director Dibakar Banherjee studied at as a teenager.
Akshaye Khanna was the initial choice for the role of Lucky.
